The overnight attack on energy facilities in Western Ukraine will not prompt any new power outages by Ukrenergo ,  said UKraine’s power grid operator CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi on Tuesday.

He stressed that the situation with power supply remains “stable” in all regions, except for the front-line areas where power outages are caused by constant shelling.

“Even in the western region, where just a few hours ago Russians launched a major attack on ‘Ukrenergo’ facilities, we are not planning to re-schedule [power shutoffs],” he noted.

Kudrytskyi assured the power grid situation remains ‘simliar across western, southern, central, and eastern regions”.
