‘Trump would be hard work’,- Zelensky on former US president’s re-election

In his interview for BBC on July 19, Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered cautious optimism about working with Donald Trump -if he is re-elected as US president . “Trump would be hard work, but we are hard workers”.
The Ukrainian leader also spoke about JD Vance whom Trump made his running mate in Novemeber’s vote. Zelenskyy trod lightly commenting the Ohio senator’s criticism of US involvement in Ukraine.
“Maybe he really doesn’t understand what goes on in Ukraine, so we have to work with the United States,” Mr Zelensky told the BBC.
