Nearly 80% of Russian tourists have canceled their trips to occupied Sevastopol and nearby resorts as they are unsure Russia’s air defense systems can make their vacations safe.
In its statement on social media, Ukraine’s military intelligence suggests tourists nay have ‘concerns’ over the “vulnerability”of the Crimean Bridge that is the only route to Russia’s mainland.
In June alone, over a third of all booked trips to Crimea were canceled, meaning fears of a bad trip are not going anywhere.
The Ukrainian Intelligence Directorate wryly warned that “illegal visits to occupied Crimea pose serious risks to health and safety.”
