Ukrainian troops strike Russian S-300 missile system in Rostov

Ukrainian troops struck a Russian S-300 surface-to-air missile system near Novoshakhtinsk in Russia’s Rostov region during the night of August 21.

Explosions were reported at the targeted location, although the accuracy of the strike is still being assessed.

Russian forces have been using the S-300 system both on the frontline and for attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
