Ukraine’s energy sector is in critical condition following a massive missile strike by Russia on Monday, said energy minister Herman Halushchenko, adding that the full extent of the damage is still known/

“Once again, the enemy is terrorizing Ukraine with missile attacks, specifically targeting our energy infrastructure. The intent remains clear: to deprive Ukrainians of electricity,” Halushchenko wrote on Facebook.

The missile strikes prompted the national grid operator, Ukrenergo, to roll out emergency power outages. “The situation is severe, and the impact of the attacks is still being clarified. Energy teams are already working to address the damage,” the minister added.

In the Lviv region, Governor Maksym Kozytsky reported that energy facilities were targeted, which caused serious power supply issues. Several other regions are also experiencing electricity disruptions, causing delays in electric train services and the deployment of backup thermal trains.

Additionally, several stations on Kyiv’s metro system, including those on the Green and Red lines, have been temporarily closed due to power failures.

Energy authorities are continuing to assess the damage and are working to restore electricity and water services in the affected areas.

A kamikaze drone flies directly toward an armored personnel carrier. But instead of penetrating the hull, it explodes on a steel screen. The crew survives. This is the new reality for Ukrainian forces, who have received enhanced protection thanks to the Metinvest project within “Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov”.

To commemorate the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, “Bukvy” has compiled data on the largest donors supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them there are charitable foundations and businesses. Notorious supporter of the concept “in order for a cow to eat less and give more milk, it needs to be fed less and milked more” “Servant of the People” Danylo Hetmantsev, under the guise of “business requirements”, registered a draft law on the collection of VAT on all foreign purchases, regardless of their value.
