Ukrainians spent $360 million on cars in August, BMW leads sales

In August 2024, Ukrainians spent nearly $360 million on new cars, according to data from Ukravtoprom. This marks a 45% increase compared to the same period last year and a 28% rise from July 2024.
The top five car brands by sales revenue were:
- BMW – over $51.5 million,
- Toyota – $51.3 million,
- Mercedes-Benz – $28.8 million,
- Volkswagen – $22.7 million,
- Audi – $18 million.
Other popular brands in the top ten included Skoda, Land Rover, Renault, Lexus, and Nissan.
Since the start of 2024, new car sales in Ukraine have reached $1.98 billion, a 23% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
