3 dead including a child after a Russian drone attacks a fuel truck in Chernihiv

A child is among three people who were killed after a Russian dront targets a truck carrying gas in the Chernihiv region. The explosion left 4 more people injured.

“Today, Russian forces launched a brutal attack on Snovsk, a border village in the Koriukivka district, targeting civilians. Drones struck a gas delivery truck, causing a massive explosion and igniting nearby homes,” reported the police.

Preliminary information confirms the deaths of three people: a 6-year-old child, the truck driver, and the passenger. Among those who got injuries are a 4-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and two men. All the injured have been promptly rushed to the hospital

Chernihiv governor Viacheslav Chaus condemned the attack in his statement on social media. “Did the Russians know where they were striking? Absolutely. They understood the consequences. Law enforcement must provide a legal assessment of this act, and the international community needs to respond.”
