Fugitive MPs Dmytruk and Odarchenko removed from parliamentary committees

On October 10, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a resolution to exclude MPs Andriy Odarchenko and Artem Dmytruk from parliamentary committees. The legislative move, known as initiative No. 12099, received the support of 245 deputies.

Odarchenko has been removed from the Anti-Corruption Committee, while Dmytruk has been dropped from the Law Enforcement Committee.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak commented on the decision, noting, “The Rada supported the exclusion of two runaway MPs from their respective committees. Now, they are free fugitives, unburdened by unnecessary committee work.”

It’s worth mentioning that Artem Dmytruk, who was put on the wanted list over assault charges, drew attention on October 7 after he tried to join  the Law Enforcement Committee during its virtual meeeting.
