Ukraine is polishing up its plan to stop the war and wants to present it at the upcoming Second Peace Summit, according to Serhiy Nykyforov, the Ukrainian president’s spokesperson.

“Yes, Ukraine is developing a three-point plan based on outcomes from the first Peace Summit and aims to present it at the second summit,” he shared.

Nykyforov revealed Ukraine is now in active talks with Global South nations, hoping to shore up their support at the summit.

The second summit can be held in  November 2024, though Russia is still sour about the idea. On August 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed interest in hosting the next summit in a Global South country.
