Half of foreign students in Polish universities are Ukrainians

Polish universities have hosted 102,700 foreign students in the last two year, with Ukrainians making up nearly 45% of them. According to reports,  at least  45,500 Ukrainian students are now studying in Poland.

This academic year saw nearly 20,000 new enrollments from Ukraine. According to Poland’s Ministry of Education,  11,900 chose private educational institutions, 7,800 got enrolled in public universities, and 200 opted for religious schools.

Ukrainian students in Poland enjoy special support measures under a law offering aid to Ukrainians. They receive free full-time education in Polish at public universities and are eligible for social scholarships, student loans, and other support, including rector’s scholarships and scholarships for students with disabilities.
