Russia attacks Kyiv with drones: damage to homes, business center, and medical facility

Kyiv got a rough wake-up call overnight on Thursday as Russian drones attacked the city. The terror attack that lasted over 8 hours saw drone debris damage homes, a business center, and a medical facility. In its statement on Telegram the Kyiv City Military Administration offered the breakdown on the damage/
Holosiivskyi District
Drone fragments tore into an apartment building, injuring one person. Chunks of debris sparked a massive 200-square-meter fire over a garage and car service area. Firefighters contained the flames, and thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
Pecherskyi District
A drone hit a high-rise here, igniting a restaurant on the 33rd floor and damaging part of the floor above. Quick action from emergency crews got the flames under control with no reported injuries.
Solomianskyi District
Drone debris sparked a fire in a warehouse covering 600 square meters, with authorities currently checking for any injuries. Debris also struck a medical center, and casualty reports are still pending.
Obolonskyi District
A business center’s 6th-floor rooftop was struck, sparking a 10-square-meter fire. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
Podilskyi District
A residential building was hit with debris, causing yet another fire.
Kyiv’s air raid sirens went off at 12:13 am, and as of 7:20 AM, the alarm was still blaring with emergency crews working at the sites of the attacks.
