9 hospitalized, 2 children in critical condition after Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia

Four children are among 9 wounded after a Russian airstrike targeted Zaporizhzhia in the early morning Monday.    A four-year-old boy and a 17-year-old teenager remain in critical condition.

The strike rocked the city around 1:33 am, when Russian forces dropped three FAB-500 bombs on its residential areas. One of the blasts reportedly destroyed a two-story residential building, injuring a four-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl, and two adults.

A second bomb hit an open area near a five-story dormitory, causing blast damage to the building and injuring 17 people, including a 17-year-old girl and two boys, ages 16 and 17.

One man was kiled when a third bomb exploded near a car dealership. Rescue workers, police, and emergency services are working at the scenes to help the injured and address the aftermath of the attack.
