Russia targets Donetsk region with 15 strikes in 24 hours: 3 dead, 7 injured

Over the last 24 hours,  Russian troops launched 15 attacks on communities across the Donetsk region, leaving a trail of casualties and destruction, according to regional governor Vadym Filashkin.

Three people were killed, including two in Kostiantynivka and one in Siversk. Seven others were injured, with tragic reports coming from Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, and Myrnohrad.

In the Pokovrsk, one injured person was reported in Kurakhove while five houses were damaged in Dachne. Myrnohrad also reported one injury and one house damaged.

The Kramatorsk district came under fire that left four homes damaged in Ozerne, Lyman community, and four sites were damaged in Zoria, Illinivka community. Kostiantynivka suffered significant damage, including nine private homes, two apartment buildings, a shop, an industrial facility, a gas pipeline, and six vehicles, alongside two fatalities and five injuries.

One person was killed in Siversk where Russian shellling left six private homes and two apartment buildings damaged. In Chasiv Yar community, ten private homes, one apartment building, and two non-residential premises were damaged.

Emergency teams evacuated 251 people, including 25 children, from areas near the front lines.
