Third World War has already begun, says Ukraine’s envoy to UK

Ukraine’s former commander-in-chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi believes that Russia’s war against Ukraine can now be considered as the start of a Third World War.

“I firmly believe that in 2024, we can definitively say the Third World War has begun. Ukraine is no longer merely facing Russia. On our soil, we now have soldiers from North Korea. Let’s be honest—this is a reality. Iranian Shahed drones are openly killing civilians here without hesitation,” said Zaluzhnyi during his speech at Ukrainska Pravda award event..

As many experts are sounding the alarm that recent developments signify a global conflict in its early stages, the world must respond accordingly.

“What many feared for so long has already begun. But I want to say this: God is giving Ukraine and the world a chance—an opportunity to draw the right conclusions before it’s too late,” he stressed.

Zaluzhnyi noted that the conflict could still be contained within Ukraine, but vented his frustration that “our partners seem unwilling to grasp this reality.” He concluded ominously: “The world war is here. Welcome to it—it has already started.”
