Ukraine’s grid operator Ukrenergo said that rotating power outages will continue acroos the country into December 3. The rolling blackouts, lasting in total up to 14 hours, are necessary due to “damage sustained by energy facilities during a massive missile and drone attack on November 28.
Over the day, households will face three periods withouth power:
- 07:00 – 08:00: One group of disconnections
- 08:00 – 19:00: Two groups of disconnections
- 19:00 – 21:00: One group of disconnections
Meanwhile, industrial and business consumers will have to endure power supply restrictions from 06:00 to 22:00.
The rotating outage schedule may be adjusted throughout the day based on ongoing repairs.
Ukrenergo emphasized that while it determines the number of groups to be disconnected, individual outage schedules are managed by regional operators.
The company also encouraged households to conserve electricity during this critical period to help balance the hobbled power grid.
