No breach of border in Sumy – regional governor

Sumy regional governor Volodymyr Artyukh has dismissed reports  of a Russian incursion into a border village of the northern region, calling them ‘enemy disinformation’ planted on social media.

“At present, there is no information from the military indicating any changes in the border situation; everything remains under control,” said the governor in his statement on Tuesday.

The administration urged citizens to rely only on official sources of information and not to fall for “manipulations” by the enemy, seeking to destabilize the region.

Andrii Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, also refuted the claims of a border breach during an interview on “KYIV24.”
