Explosion in Moscow kills Russian general and his assistant

Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, has been killed after a bomb went off near his home at Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow on Tuesday, His assistant was also killed in the blast.
According to reports, an explosive device was planted in an electric scooter near the building entrance. The device detonated remotely as Kirillov and his aide approached.
Russia’s Investigative Committee confirmed both victims were active-duty military personnel adding it launched a criminal investigation into their killings .
This attack comes just a day after Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) charged Kirillov in absentia for allegedly ordering the use of chemical weapons against Ukrainian forces.
