A stockpile of components for Shahed-136 drones worth at least $16 million has been destroyed in an arson attack on a  military storage site in Russia,  said Ukraine’s military intelligence on Monday.

“A warehouse in the Alabuga special economic zone in Russia, where components for Shahed-136 drones were stored, went up in flames. These drones are frequently used for strikes against Ukraine,” said its statement.

The fire consumed 65 drone fuselages, engines, navigation systems, and thermal video cameras intended for the production of 400 Shahed-136 units—all of which were completely destroyed.

“This mysterious and devastating fire marks yet another blow to the military-industrial complex of terrorist Russia,” added Ukraine’s intelligence gleefully.
