A precision strike on the command post of Russia’s 810th Separate Marine Brigade in Lgov, Kursk Region, has resulted in the deaths of 18 Russian military officers, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The targeted building, which housed the brigade’s command post, suffered partial destruction. Among the casualties were reportedly the deputy commander of the 810th brigade and 17 other military personnel, most of whom were staff officers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine said it will keep hunting down for the military targets like the Lgov command post.

“This strike is part of a broader campaign to degrade the Russian Armed Forces’ ability to coordinate military operations against the Ukrainian people,” the statement said.

The attack took place overnight on December 25.
