Ukraine and Canada will deepen cooperation on the protection of national identity and the affirmation of Ukrainian heritage in the world.

Ukraine’s culture minister Rostyslav Karandeev met with Canada’s ambassador to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the details of the construction of the second stage of the National Holodomor Genocide Museum, which is an important aspect for the restoration of historical memory and the protection of national identity.

The sides also outlined the priority areas of cooperation in establishing the Ukrainian language in the world and preserving Ukrainian cultural heritage – both tangible and intangible.

Rostyslav Karandeev expressed gratitude for the support of Canada, which remains a reliable ally of Ukraine.

In turn, the Canadian ambassador noted the importance of preserving historical memory and cultural heritage.

Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.
