No capacity deficit in the grid, – energy ministry

As of January 5 morning, there is no capacity deficit in the Ukrainian energy system, as reported by the ministry.
However, the ministry calls on the population to reduce the use of electricity in the peak consumption hours.
As of now, the production of electricity in the country fully meets the consumption needs. The situation is stable and controlled.
Russian invaders continue attacks on the Ukrainian energy facilities. The latest strikes caused damage to energy objects in Donetsk and Chernihiv regions.
Earlier, Ukrainian army command informed about possible new Russian attacks on the power facilities.
