Over the last 4 months, the defense ministry found violations ‘for more than 10 billion’

Ukraine’s defense minister stated that the ministry has been conducting the internal audit for four months.
The audit discovered losses worth 10 billion UAH.
In December, the SBU, together with the Ministry of Defense, stopped a corruption scheme for the purchase of ammunition for the Armed Forces for almost UAH 1.5 billion.
In October 2023, the suspicion was declared to the ex-deputy minister of defense and former head of the department due to the purchase of low-quality body armor for 250 million hryvnias.
Earlier, it was informed that the defense ministry launched a new procurement system that corresponds to the NATO standards.
