As of the morning of January 18, the amount of electricity produced by power plants of all types is sufficient to ensure energy supply to consumers.

However, during the day, Ukrenergo company predicts a small deficit of about 3%.

Power plant resources are still limited. Repairs are ongoing at those power plants that are recovering from last winter’s Russian massive attacks. In addition, two power units of large thermal power plants were stopped for emergency repairs yesterday.

In addition, energy engineers warn about possible icing of power lines due to the weather conditions.

Ukraine continues import of electricity from Slovakia, Poland, Romania, and Moldova.
