The security service detained a Russian agent who was preparing a terrorist attack and spied for the benefit of the Russian Federation in Odesa region.
His main task was to identify and transfer the coordinates of the facilities where toxic substances are stored, in particular warehouses with pesticides.
He also scouted possible bases and routes of movement of the Defense Forces.
With these geolocations, Russians planned to carry out air attacks using missiles and Shahed drones.
According to the available data, the invaders hoped to provoke an environmental disaster in the region and thus destabilize the situation.
The agent was recruited by the FSB in the autumn of 2023. Now he faces life imprisonment under the article of high treason.
