Almost a quarter of the entire staff are at the front, – internal minister

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, said that the Ministry also needs weapons and ammunition, because a quarter of the staff is at the front.

He said this during a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, Martin Jäger.

‘The system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is an important component in the defense of Ukraine. Now almost a quarter of the entire staff are on the front line. We also need weapons and ammunition,’ Klymenko stated.

The parties discussed the security situation inside Ukraine and the participation of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in repelling the enemy.

The minister also told about the help that Ukraine has already received from partners. According to Ihor Klymenko, all provided aid is clearly accounted for, and its use is carefully monitored.

Ukraine’s minister thanked the people of Germany for their continuing support of Ukraine.
