Since October, 1.7 million Ukrainians have contracted common cold, flu, and COVID-19, 56% of them are children.
From December 18 to 24, 152,073 new cases were registered in the country, of which 85,023 were children under the age of 17. 4,684 Ukrainians were hospitalized.
There were 8,709 new cases of COVID-19, three of them are the new sub variant of the Pirola coronavirus.
In the event of a complicated epidemic situation, restrictive measures may be implemented locally. Anti-epidemic measures may include the introduction of a mask regime, social distancing, cancellation of mass events, etc.
