During February of this year, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 13 Russian combat planes.

Among the Russian aircraft downed in February, there were 10 Su-34 fighter-bombers, two Su-35 fighters and an A-50 long-range radar detection and control aircraft.

The Ministry of Defense noted that this is the best result since October 2022.

The spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, noted that Russians have not been using the A-50 long-range radar detection and control aircraft for several days in a row, which facilitates the work of the air defense forces.

Yesterday, it was reported that 3 Russian Su-34 jets were shot down during the day.
