138 сombat сlashes recorded over last 24 hours- frontline update

On 4th September, a total of 138 combat clashes were recorded across the front lines, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces continued offensive and assault operations, with two clashes occurring in the Vovchansk area, where the enemy actively used drones for strikes.

The Kupiansk sector saw an uptick in attacks, with 17 enemy assaults repelled by Ukrainian defense forces around Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova, Berestove, and Miasozharivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops halted 27 enemy attacks near Druzelubivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Novosadove, Nevske, and Torske.

On the Siversk front, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy assaults as Russian forces attempted to advance near Verkhnokamianske and Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, six enemy attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses were thwarted, with Russian troops and aviation focusing efforts around Chasiv Yar and Kalynivka.

The Toretsk sector saw intensified activity, with the enemy launching 15 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Nelypivka, Toretsk, and New York. Enemy airstrikes using guided bombs were also reported.

The fiercest fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops fended off 52 assaults in areas near Vozdvyzhenka, Zelenyi Pid, Novogrodivka, Hrodivka, Selydove, Mykolaivka, and Myroliubivka, where the invaders, ttempted to push Ukrainian units from their positions.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian defense forces halted 46 enemy attacks near Heorhiivka, Kostyantynivka, and Krasnohorivka.

On the Vremivka front, four Russian assaults were repelled near Kostyantynivka and Vodiane.

In the Orikhiv sector, two combat engagements were reported near Robotyne and Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces made five unsuccessful attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their defensive positions.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains largely unchanged, with no signs of offensive groupings forming.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense operations continue in Russia’s Kursk region, and along the borders with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, where the Russian troops maintain a military presence, shell Ukrainian communities from Russian territory, and launch sabotage and reconnaissance operations.

Fighting continues along most of the frontline as Ukrainian soldiers hold back enemy attacks.
