2 dead, 19 injured including a child as Russian missile targets Kryvyi Rih

A Russian missile attack killed two men aged 40 and 69 in Kryvyi Rih on Friday. It  also left at least 19 others injured, including a 6-year-old boy, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, who acts as a head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council.

Eight people were rushed to hospital with medical reports describing their condition as moderate.

The attack also caused a serious damage to an an administrative building, six apartment buildings and five private homes.

Rescue operations are ongoing, with one person still unaccounted for.  Kryvyi Rih offficials have set up a help station to help the victims of the attack.  The rescue operation headquarters will work throughout the night and the following day until 5:00 PM.

Regional governor Oleksandr Vilkul expressed condolences to the families of the victims, condemning the terror act targeting civilians.

On October 6, the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court of Ukraine continued hearing case No. 990/80/25, in which the fifth President and leader of the party “European Solidarity”, Petro Poroshenko, seeks to have Presidential Decree No. 81/2025 from February 12, 2025 — enacting sanctions by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) — declared illegal and annulled. The plaintiff claims the document was falsified and that the sanctions are a tool of political persecution of the opposition, contrary to international norms. Government representatives deny the allegations and insist their actions were lawful. Journalists of Bukvy were present at the hearing.

He is a master at using it and is constantly improving, because the legionnaire’s skills are tested every day in battle. You have to drive to the front lines, often under artillery fire and drone attacks.
