2 killed, 15 injured as Russian ballistic missile strikes kindergarten in Zaporizhzhia

A Russian ballistic missile targeted a kindergarten in Zaporizhzhia on Monday leaving 15 people injured and 2 more killed.  Moments after an air raid alert went off in the city  at 9:11 am,  people heard explosions.

According to Fedorov, the missiles struck a residential area, damaging multiple homes. The attack hit the city center, affecting both multi-story and single-story buildings, including a kindergarten and a dormitory. In total, over 30 buildings sustained damage.

Among the injured, four individuals suffered injuries after the missile hit the kindergarten. Emergency workers managed to pull two of them from the rubble. The two-story structure of the kindergarten sustained partial destruction.

Rescuers also found the body of one person from the debris. Accoridng to reports, at least three of the injured remain in critical condition.
