465 chemical attacks carried out by Russia during the full-scale war

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 465 cases of Russia’s use of ammunition equipped with poisonous chemicals have been recorded.

The dynamics of chemical attacks is increasing and in December 2023, Russians launched 81 attacks. On December 19, in just one day, the enemy carried out 8 attacks using chemical agents.

Russians most often use gas grenades dropping them from UAVs. They also use improvised explosive devices equipped with irritating substances and artillery munitions with chemically dangerous substances.

On December 14, Russians used a new type of special RG-VO gas grenades containing an unknown chemical substance.

Ukrainian military lawyers have already documented and launched investigations into 28 cases of the use of dangerous chemicals.
