As the poll results show, 58% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine will win the war in the short term.

Only 5% of respondents doubted the victory. More than half of Ukrainians (58%) believe that Ukraine will win this war in the short term: 6% – in the next few months, 21% – by the summer of 2024, another 31% – in 1-2 years.
‘If we talk about the possible gains in the war, which Ukrainians are ready to give preference to, then there is a clear connection between the achievements in the war and the rescue of own citizens, the request for justice and punishment of Russia,’ sociologists note.
Most Ukrainians focus on the release of all prisoners of war and the return of deported Ukrainians (69%). Ukraine’s accession to NATO for guaranteed protection from a new war (42%), punishment of all Russian war criminals (42%) and compensation for all damages caused to the economy and citizens (41.5%) are the next indicators.
