Russian troops continue attacks in Donetsk region. During the day, the invaders launched 1843 strikes.
As reported by the local police, 18 enemy strikes targeted residential areas in 17 towns and villages of the region. Three local civilians are reported wounded.
With the use of air bombs, rocket systems, and heavy artillery, Russians hit 46 civilian objects, including 33 residential houses, a hospital, an administrative building, and other facilities.
In addition, during the night, the invaders targeted Kostiantynivka with S-300 missiles, destroying a hospital, two kindergartens, houses, and other objects.
The police continue evacuation from the frontline areas. In the past day, 159 locals moved to the safer regions of Ukraine.
On October 6, the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court of Ukraine continued hearing case No. 990/80/25, in which the fifth President and leader of the party “European Solidarity”, Petro Poroshenko, seeks to have Presidential Decree No. 81/2025 from February 12, 2025 — enacting sanctions by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) — declared illegal and annulled. The plaintiff claims the document was falsified and that the sanctions are a tool of political persecution of the opposition, contrary to international norms. Government representatives deny the allegations and insist their actions were lawful. Journalists of Bukvy were present at the hearing.
