As of today, 349 towns and villages in different regions of Ukraine are experiencing electricity disruptions due to the Russian strikes and bad weather.
New Russian attacks on energy facilities caused damage in Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.
On January 29, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning, around 10:00. It was 1.4% lower than the previous working day, January 26.
The production of electricity fully meets the consumption needs.
However, the level of electricity consumption in the country remains high. Ukrenergo calls on the population to use electricity sparingly.
In the peak hours, Ukraine continues import of electricity from Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova.
