Horticia Command denies claims its troops were left trapped at Uspenivka

Hortiсia Operational Command has refuted the report by DeepState which claimed Ukrainian military units were  surrounded at Trudove and Uspenivka.

On Thursday, DeepState said  Russian forces have seized these two areas, which left some Ukrainian troops trapped in what they called “Uspenivka pocket.”

“Unfortunately, not everyone managed to get out, and let this remain on the conscience of those responsible for this mistake until the end of their days. We hope this time attention will be paid to the flanks, which previously led to the creation of the ‘Uspenivka pocket,’” stated DeepState.

Hortiсia Command disputed this account of events, arguing that all units successfully withdrew. “With reference to DeepState resources, information is being spread in the media about some units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces being in operational encirclement near the settlements of Uspenivka and Trudove,” their statement reads.

It also revealed that Ukraine’s commander-in-chief ordered to withdraw the units from this area to avoid encirclement.

“The military units, which had been engaged in prolonged heavy defensive battles against superior enemy forces, carried out necessary maneuvers to avoid encirclement and continue performing operational tasks along the Kurakhove-Konstantynopil line,” the statement said.
