Kyiv allocates UAH 500 million for drones

The Kyiv City Council agreed to allocate 500 million hryvnias for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian army.
In addition, the Council provided targeted financial assistance to Kyiv residents who were conscripted into military service during mobilization.
An important area of activity to ensure the defense of Kyiv is further support by the city of the territorial defense system.
‘Taking into account numerous appeals from the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 500 million hryvnias have been allocated for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles with the aim of their further transfer to the Defense and Security Forces,’ the statement says.
Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.
