The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andrii Demchenko, said that trucks arriving from Ukraine to Poland are almost unable to pass due to the protests at the border.

‘The situation remains unchanged. Polish farmers continue to block six checkpoints, making it difficult for vehicles to move in both directions,’ he said.

According to him, about 2,200 trucks are waiting in line on all six routes. The most delays are observed at the checkpoints Krakivets, Rava-Ruska and Yagodyn.

‘We have a significant decrease in the number of border crossings by trucks, this is especially noticeable at the Sheginy checkpoint. Over the past day, 35 trucks crossed the border there, 24 of which were heading towards Ukraine,’ he explained.

The situation is also critical at the Yagodyn checkpoint. Over the past 24 hours, about 70 trucks have entered Ukraine, but Polish farmers do not allow trucks heading from Ukraine to Poland.
