Poroshenko delivers drones and equipment to Ukrainian troops in Sumy

During his visit to the border region of Sumy, former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko delivered a new batch of FPV drones, reconnaissance drones, and other equipment to Ukrainian military units. He also met with the “Yenot’ battalion troops who showed him the trophies they captured on the incursion into the enemy territory.

Among the captured assets are a Russian “Tornado” multiple rocket launcher, an infantry fighting machine, and a 120mm mortar.

As drones remain in short supply, Poroshenko revealed that his campaign helps send the army some 4,000 drones each month, and he is determined to keep this criticial supplies flowing in.

Since the Feb.24 invasion, the fomer Ukrainian president has sent military equipment and weapons worth 5.6 billion hryvnas to the Ukrainian forces. This year alone, his effort got Ukrainian defenders  over 27,000 FPV drones that are hailed for their “60% efficiency rate”.

This is the new reality for Ukrainian forces, who have received enhanced protection thanks to the Metinvest project within “Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov”.
