Ukrainian military intelligence has issued a warning about a Russian-led plot to recruit people for  protests in Ukrainian cities. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), anonymous Telegram accounts are now offering money to anyone who will agree to join rallies designed to “discredit Ukraine’s military and political leadership”. These paid participants are supposed to take photos and videos, which may later be posted on social media to create “social tension”.

The protests are reportedly being organized in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, and other regional centers. Ukrainian miltary intelligence urges citizens to stay away from any activities that could harm national security.
