Situation on the frontline: number of clashes rises to 74 since morning

In its latest update on the frontline situation, Ukraine’s General Staff reported 74 clashes on Tuesday.
The Russian troops continue to use aviation, including guided bombs, and are launching attacks in all eastern and southern directions with the most intense combat ongoing in the Pokrovsk sector.
The enemy continues artillery strikes in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The areas of Riasne, Obiednane, and Mykhailchyna Sloboda are under enemy fire.
In the Kharkiv sector, four combat clashes occurred today. Ukrainian troops thwarted three Russian attacks near Vovchansk, one assault is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted to improve their tactical positions three times near Novosynove and Pishchane. Currently, two attacks are ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy is attacking near Makiivka, Nevske, Verkhnokamianske, Pereizne, Vyiimka, and the Serebrianske forest. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 12 clashes in this direction, six of which are still ongoing.
Fighting continues in the area of Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk suburbs, where the enemy is trying to advance on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. One attack has already been repelled.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy, supported by assault and bomber aviation, attacked Ukrainian positions six times. Fighting is ongoing near Pivnichne and New York.
The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsk sector. Fierce battles are ongoing near Zelenyi Hai, Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Vesele, Serhiivka, Lysychyn, Tymofiivka, and Yasnobrodivka. The enemy has made 32 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions so far.
In the Kurakhove sector, a clash is ongoing near Krasnohorivka. Ukrainian forces have repelled nine enemy assaults near Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka.
In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four enemy assaults towards Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled an enemy attack. The Russian units are actively using aviation in the areas of Omelnyk, Novoandriivka, and Novodanilivka.
In other sectors, the situation remains largely unchanged. Ukrainian soldiers are holding back the enemy’s advance and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
