Ternopil officials have imposed strict electricity outages after one of the key enery sites got damaged in a Russian drone attack on Tuesday. To balance the crippled power system in the region, electricity will be  be supplied to customers for only 5-6 hours daily.

According to the power outages schedule,  there will be three two-hour intervals when power will be available. electricity. Despite the power supply disruptions, customers enjoy having electricity a little bit longer compared to the previous day, offering some relief as they have to get used to challenging conditions.

The outages stem from the destruction of a key energy facility during a Russian attack on November 26, which caused power shortages affecting up to 70% of the region. Local energy company “Ternopiloblenergo” said its technical teams had to rerout power to other systems, restoring much of the supply but workers are still scrambling to stabilize the grid and ensure more reliable service for residents.
