On Friday, Ukraine has managed to bring home the bodies of 563 fallen soldiers.

Among them, 320 soldiers lost their lives in the fierce battles along the Donetsk front, while 89 others made their final stand in Bakhmut. One hundred fifty four bodies were recovered from morgues within Russian-controlled territories.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport these repatriated remains to designated state facilities, where law enforcement and forensic experts will work to identify each fallen hero, ensuring their families can honor them properly.
