Polish prime minister Donald Tusk didn’t hold back when discussing the situation in Kursk, firmly backing Ukraine’s actions as “defensive.” In his comments for Polskie Radio, the Polish leader said that what Russian forces and aviation are doing to Ukraine amounts to “genocide and inhumane crimes,” which gives Ukrainian leaders “every right to conduct the war in a way that effectively paralyzes Russia’s aggressive intentions.”

Tusk assured that Poland is in “constant contact” with Kyiv at the highest political level, making sure to “keep a finger on the pulse.”

He also warned that  “the greatest risk for Poland and Europe will arise if Ukraine loses the war and Russia wins.” This scenario can ‘directly impact Poland and .. all of Europe. Therefore, Ukraine’s actions to prevent this outcome are also actions for our safety,” added the prime minister known as an avid Ukrainian supporter.
