Ukraine launches a program to help people whose dwellings were ruined by Russians

From today, Ukraine begins paying compensation to those people whose homes were destroyed by the Russians.
Now anyone who has already received a housing certificate can reserve funds for the purchase of a house or apartment through the Diia application.
As of today, 1,636 certificates worth more than 3 billion hryvnias have been issued.Compensations will be made within the available amount of funds in the non-budget account of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
At this stage, it is only possible to buy an apartment or a house with a certificate. However, in January-February, it is expected that it will be possible to purchase building materials and order works with certificates.
