Ukraine’s postal operator, Ukrposhta, has released a stamp devoted to the town of Okhtyrka, Sumy region.
The city suffered violent Russian attacks and ruination at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. The stamp marks the end of the active hostilities in Okhtyrka on March 27, 2022.
The Ukrposhta statement stresses that the defenders of Okhtyrka fought for each meter of the land not to allow Russian invaders move farther.
The circulation of the stamp is 1,080,000 and the cost is UAH 15. It can be purchased at Ukrposhta branches and online.
The stamp continues the series devoted to the Hero cities of Ukraine. Earlier, Ukrposhta released stamps that honor Kherson; Bucha, Irpin and Hostomel in Kyiv regions; and the cities of Kharkiv region.
