President Zelensky said in an interview that Russia destroyed the Trypilska power plant because the Ukrainian air defense had run out of rockets.
Zelensky compared the situation to the joint defense of Israel, which repelled an Iranian attack thanks to the support of its allies.
He added that the joint forces made every effort to protect Israel during the Iran’s attack.
He also told that Russia targeted the Trypilska power with 11 missiles. The Ukrainian air defense managed to destroy 7 of them and then ran out of rockets.
Earlier, it was reported that during the missile attack, Russia completely ruined the Trypilska thermal power plant in Kyiv region.
