Former MP Pashynskyi released on bail

The former MP and the head of the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises of Ukraine, Serhii Pashynskyi, said that he was released from the pre-trial detention center after the association’s member companies paid a bail.

‘The member companies of the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises have just paid a full bail for me. I am free,’ the former MP wrote.

Pashynskyi also noted that he is returning to his duties.

On February 12, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau searched Serhii Pashynskyi, a member of parliament of four convocations, who currently heads the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises.

Later, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor office, and the Security Service declared suspicion to Pashynskyi.
