The former MP and the head of the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises of Ukraine, Serhii Pashynskyi, said that he was released from the pre-trial detention center after the association’s member companies paid a bail.

‘The member companies of the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises have just paid a full bail for me. I am free,’ the former MP wrote.

Pashynskyi also noted that he is returning to his duties.

On February 12, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau searched Serhii Pashynskyi, a member of parliament of four convocations, who currently heads the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises.

Later, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor office, and the Security Service declared suspicion to Pashynskyi.
